Whitney Dagg's Breakfast Quinoa


  • 1 cup of trim milk
  • ½ cup of rinsed quinoa
  • 1 tbsp of brown sugar
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp of sunflower seeds
  • ½ cup of fresh blueberries (or your choice of fruit)


  1. Bring milk to the boil in a saucepan
  2. Add quinoa, stir and bring to the boil again
  3. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer until most of the milk has been absorbed (approx 15 mins)
  4. Stir in sugar, cinnamon, sunflower seeds and blueberries
  5. Add additional milk to serve if you wish
